Hi! My name is Allie, and I have the pleasure to be a SCOPE-NM student delegate. I am a first year at University of New Mexico studying astrophysics. I was born in Albuquerque, but raised in Oregon. I have many hobbies, ranging from various sports to academics. My passion for space science started when I was 15, and only has grown since then! I am thrilled to be involved with this unique opportunity!
Azmirayah Delgado
🐆 Atrisco Heritage Academy High School
I am currently a senior in high school with a deep passion for machinery and computers. I've always been fascinated with how technology works. When I was younger, my 3Ds broke, showing the intricate parts underneath the screen. I was starstruck. My love for technology only grew when I took related classes ranging from cybersecurity to electrical engineering. I strive for a future where everyone can rely on technology without fear of safety or privacy.
Anny Salas
😺 Central New Mexico Community College
Hello everyone, my name is Anny M. Salas and I am extremely excited to take part in SCOPE-NM! My love for Astronomy began at a very young age; I was in 3rd grade when I began to ask for a telescope after my parents took us on a family trip to the Griffith Observatory. I was pursuing combined degrees of Astrophysics and Geology at UNM, but could not afford to continue my studies at UNM. I had to leave UNM after my Spring 2016 semester. I decided to go back to school but this time to pursue a different degree path. My dream is to one day work for a Space Agency in the U.S.
